We’ll have a grape time with Refreshing Summer Wines! 
 
Crisp, chilled whites and smooth, luxurious reds!  What a way to relax and to enjoy your summer, sipping the juice of the grape.

Our May New Harmony Wine Society (NHWS) event focuses on wines that will complement your summer outdoors.  The wines we’ve selected to taste this month will add vigor to your conversation and enliven the flavors of your grilled and barbecued meats.

We’ll uncork exciting wines from Oregon, California, Italy and Austria.

And as always, Red Geranium Chef Chris Calhoun will present a dazzling array of hors d’oeuvres.

Maso Canali Pinot Grigio (Italy)
Lois Grüner Veltliner (Austria)
Sokol Blosser Evolution (Willamette Valley, Oregon)
Irony Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley, Sonoma, California)
Cline Cashmere (California)
Cline Carignane (Contra CostaCounty, California)

Dress is casual for this event, and the price is a nominal $10 for NHWS members and $15 for non-members.

Our NHWS wine tasting events have been filling up quickly.  The venue for this month's tasting restricts us to 50 participants.  So please phone your RSVP to 1-800-782-8605 or (812) 682-4431, ext. 2, by May 9 to secure your reservation.  Or you can email kathy@newharmonyinn.com.  And be sure to make dinner reservations at the Red Geranium Restaurant for after the tasting.

Also, because we care about your safety, and to deter drinking and driving, we enthusiastically suggest you take advantage of the New Harmony Inn’s special room rate for wine tasting participants the night of the event.  Room rates are subject to availability, and begin at $75, so be sure to call ahead to make a reservation.
