Under the Beams Winter Concert Series presents The Time Jumpers
A lively evening of western swing music featuring eleven of Nashville's finest studio musicians and vocalists.  This dynamic group has released two CD's, "On the Air" and "Live at the Station Inn".  They still perform every Monday night at the Station Inn in Nashville, where the band formed 8 years ago.

Concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Rapp-Owen Granary. Singing and songwriting duo, Linford Detweiler and Karin Bergquist performing swanky yet earthy neo-cabaret jazz which celebrates the soul of American music.  Their expansive, simple and exquisite arrangements have a deep affinity with a wide variety of musical styles and eras and interweave seemingly incongruous stylistic threads, while evoking many influences.  Performing on drums is Mickey Grimm.

The Traditional Fourth of July Celebration harkens back to the almost two hundred years of history of this remarkable town. Join community members and visitors for music and patriotic speeches in historic Thralls Opera House and continue the celebration at Maclure Park with a traditional community picnic featuring music, food, games, contests and free root beer. Wabash Heritage Paddlefest Offers outdoors and canoe enthusiasts a 9.7 mile float down the Wabash River from Grayville, Illinois to Historic New Harmony, Indiana. This event is sanctioned by the American Canoe Association and is great fun for the entire family. This is a perfect event to take advantage of a weekend of camping at Harmonie State Park.

Kunstfest Held the third weekend in September and is sponsored by the New Harmony Business Associates. Kunstfest is a traditional celebration of German foods, music and crafts designed to honor the heritage of New Harmony ’s original founders. In addition to various craft demonstrations there is entertainment ranging from the “Big Whopper Liar’s Contest” to pumpkin painting to horse-drawn carriage rides.
